Applications Open For The Northern Cape Dept of Agriculture Internship Programme 2021. The Northern Cape Department of Agriculture, Environmental Affairs, Land Reform and Rural Development invites unemployed agricultural graduates, who seek practical work experience that would assist in venturing into entrepreneurial projects related to agriculture, land reform and rural development, to apply for internship under the: Unemployed Agricultural Graduates Entrepreneurial Development Programme.
Successful candidates / applicants will be appointed as interns for 24 months and will undergo development training in technical, professional, business and life skills relevant for them to enter the job market or start their own enterprises and will be placed on commercial farms to work.
Requirements:
- The initiative targets qualified unemployed graduates in agriculture between the ages of 18 –35 years.
- Unemployed South African graduates in possession of a recognized Diploma / Degree in agriculture related fields.
- Candidates must be entering government internship programme for the first time.
- Private studying during the 24 months period of the programme will not be allowed.

Applications received after the closing date and those that do not comply with the requirements will not be considered. The department reserves the right not to fill the posts and also to reallocate graduates to a different commodity enterprise.
