Langa Mavuso Pays Another Touching Tribute to His Late Partner Lentswe Bhengu. It has been almost four months, since the untimely passing of Lentswe Bhengu. The celebrity chef, TV personality, author and content creator’s passing took many by shock, as he was just fine weeks prior to his death.

Bhengu passed away on the 28th of February, at Sandton Medi-Clinic, where he was admitted. When announcing his death, his family revealed on a social media post that he suffered a short illness, which he sadly succumbed to. A couple of hours after the death announcement, Bhengu’s partner Langa Mavuso broke his silence.

Without saying much, he tweeted, “Lizwi Lam.” The name Lizwi is of Xhosa origin, and it evokes logical reasoning. You are possibly intelligent, intuitive, graceful, and even a psychic. The full name of lizwi is lizwilenkosi which means the word of God. It could also be that Langa was translating Lentswe, which is a Tswana word, to his language Xhosa.

In the following weeks, Langa mourned in private. It was only in April where he plucked up the courage to pen a heartfelt tribute to the late Bhengu. The award winning singer and songwriter posted some of the beautiful memories that he and Lentswe shared. On one video the two can be seen cooking together, and in another it looks like they are hosting some guests.

When it comes to grief, some days, you are fine and other days it’s back to square one. A lot of factors like milestones, anniversaries, birthdays, or just random memories can trigger our feelings. With Langa, it’s not yet clear, what prompted his latest tweets. He has once again uploaded pictures and videos of the beautiful moments he had with Bhengu. The tweet though was removed a couple of minutes later.
