SA Celebs React to the Dalai Lama’s Video of Kissing A Young Boy

SA Celebs React to the Dalai Lama’s Video of Kissing A Young Boy. The spiritual leader is trending around the world, for something not so holly. Tibetan Dalai Lama, Tenzin Gyatso, has gone viral for publicly kissing a boy child on the mouth, and sticking out his tongue asking him to suck it.

The Dalai Lama started off by inviting the boy on stage. He then pointed to his cheek and asked the young kid to give him a hug and a kiss. As the interaction continued, he then pulled the boy’s chin and kisses him on the mouth.

And suck my tongue,” he says after a few seconds, sticking his tongue out.

The incident has been deemed as an inappropriate interaction with many people around the world asking for the Dalai Lama’s immediate arrest. This is probably because many young kids, mostly boys have been molested by respected spiritual leaders across the world. They argue that if the Dalai Lama can do this publicly, then what more happens in private!

The Dalai Lama has since apologized to the boy and his family, as well as his many friends across the world in a statement. It was also added that he normally teases those he interacts with in an innocent and playful way, both in private an in front of the cameras.

The news also reached South African shores, and several public figures have reacted. The Economic Freedom Fighters, which is a prominent local opposition party, has found the apology lame. The EFF has thus called on the Indian authorities, where Dalai Lama currents stays to act against him.

The likes of Ayanda Thabethe, Loyiso McDonald, Ntsiki Mazwai and Sizwe Dhlomo have also added their views on the trending issue. They are all not impressed by the incident, and the apology that came after.
