SA Fresh Talent That Made A Mark In 2017. The entertainment industry is not an easy one to crack, but these new comers are beating the odds. Some are making their stardom debut this year, whereas others became more relevant this year. Whatever the case, they have made our year, and we can’t wait for 2018 to see what they have in store for us.

1. Thabang Molaba

Around October, The Queen introduced a new character in the form of Gift, played by model turned actor Thabang Molaba. Not only were we served great talent, ladies got to indulge on the eye candy. The Free State born model plays the character of a rich and spoilt young man, Gift, who is the on screen son to Gracious played by Rami Chuene.

Bontle Modiselle

Although we have been exposed to her since 2015, she made her mark this year. Bontle is the host of Club 808, which airs on South African television e.tv. She replaced Boity Thulo as host in 2017. In November 2017, she was reported to be one of South African representatives at MTV EMA.

It’s all in the family broer! This young rising star is sister to famous Modiselle sisters, Refilwe and Bontle. Her character on Generations The Legacy is starting to get recognition now. She is also appearing on a adverts, meaning brands are warming up to her talent.

Love or hate her, 2017 was the year that this entertainer revived her brand. Normally nudity stars are never taken seriously. They are brushed off as attention seekers with no talent. She has had quite a year, and seemingly coming out of nowhere, Skolopad has now caught the eye of Zimbabwean promotions company Devine Assignments, who allegedly wants her for an appearance in the neighboring country.
