Thato Mokoena Bows Out of METRO FM With Heartfelt Gratitude. Without a doubt, Thato Mokoena is among the top breakout stars from Big Brother Mzansi Season III. She may not have won the competition, but once outside, she won in life.
The reality show star, musician, actress and media personality has always wanted to be a star and now she’s living her dream. Being a participant on Big Brother Mzansi season III, Thato, sold herself very well while in the house. Immediately after her exit, she bagged a presenting gig on Mzansi Magic sports show, HomeGround. Thato worked alongside Minnie Dlamini, among other talented personalities. She also went on to do acting, music, dance, and radio among other things. She has surely been consistent with making her dreams become a reality, and that’s should be applauded.
Two years ago, Thato joined one of the country’s biggest radio stations, Metro FM. The station launched a new show that focuses on music and urban lifestyle called Saturday Sunset. Thato became the co-host of the show with veteran radio personality, Quinton “Naked DJ” Masina every Saturday from 6 to 9pm.
All things come to an end eventually, and so has That’s journey with METRO FM. She is super grateful for the two years she has spent at the radio station. Thato thanked METRO FM, her co-host Naked DJ as well as the listeners for their support. She is looking forward to new beginnings.
