The Kumalos See Their Son Nathi Off to His Matric Dance. One thing about the Kumalos, they are a supportive family. From celebrating each other’s milestones, growth and achievements, they lead the way. Recently, their first born son, Nkosinathi Kumalo went for his Matric Dance, and the moment was a family affair.
Nathi as he is affectionately called, was the man of the moment two weeks ago. The 18-year-old was off for his Matric Dance, and he looked all sorts of suave. Of course we wouldn’t expect any less of him as his parents Basetsana and Romeo Kumalo are style icons. What was even more heartwarming, was the fact that Nathi’s extended family, pitched up, to take pictures and videos of him, and his date for the event, Sophie.
As expected, every detail you can think of was captured on camera. Basetsana, was gracious enough to share a video of what went down on her social media. The beauty queen, and TV mogul also expressed her joy on the caption.
“Two weeks ago we had the pleasure to witness our son’s Nkosinathi’s Matric Dance. Where did the time go!!! For me it was an emotional day that my boy is 18 years and a bigger world awaits him. His gorgeous date Sophie was simply breathtaking in a @gavinrajah creation,” Bassie said.
She also stated that having Nathi as a son has been one of the greatest gifts that life has given her. How SWEET!
“To my son – Don’t let anyone take you for granted. Always hold your head up high. Never stop believing in yourself. Just go forth and aim for the skies. I may not carry you in my arms anymore, but I will always carry you in my heart. You have given me so many reasons to be proud of the man you have become, but the proudest moment for me is telling others you are my son. Love always, mom,” Bassie wrapped up her beautiful message.
