Her latest achievement is being crowned the E! Africa Pop Culture award winner for Philanthropy. Nomzamo penned a heartfelt message on social media in appreciation of the achievement. “It always leaves me humbled and genuinely speechless when honored or awarded for the humanitarian work that I do,” she said.

She spoke about how being a philanthropist has changed her life. “My role with the UN Refugee Agency as well as the various philanthropic endevours has opened me up to a world bigger than myself where I have come to balance connecting with my displaced kin in a refugee camp, to engaging world economic leaders on funding and youth of South Africa on education, skills development as well raising awareness on mental health issues, she added.”
