Lerato Kganyago Finally Lets Go Of The Grudge She Has Against Her Father. Every little girl longs for that father figure in her life. In some cases though, girls grow into adults, with no male figure to carry them through. Media personality Lerato Kganyago, has never enjoyed a healthy relationship with her father. Although he was there physically, emotionally he was absent.

Even when she was experiencing trying times, daddy dearest was not there for her.
The 3 days I was in hospital after I lost my baby, I kept staring at the door at the hospital, hoping he would walk in… he didn’t! We didn’t speak for months after that, I avoided going home because I was so angry at him… he ditched me again when I needed him the most!

Deep down though, her father cared, it’s just that he did not know how to show it.
I held a grudge again for so long… until the one time he called me after so many months and he said “I’m listening to 702, they talkinh about Women infertility”… I broke into tears because at that moment I realized he cared, but he didn’t know how to show me HE DID!

The 2018 SAFTA winner has decided to let go of the grudge and embrace her father the way he is.
But today I made a decision to let go and embrace my Father as he is! I held on too long to what had happened in the past… I was dying inside longing for his love as an only child! The best gift you could ever give your child, is your Love and affection!!! ❤️
