Advertising Controller Wanted At SPAR Western Cape. The purpose of this position is to ensure that the critical path for all advertising material is adhered to. Place orders for all advertising material for stores and ensure timeous delivery. Assist the advertising manager with planning and executing all campaign and sponsorship events.

The Responsibilities Include

• Maintain and grow excellent relationships with Retailers through effective communication in terms of promotion and advertising issues.
• Analyse and resolve retailer queries, provide timeous solutions and feedback.
• Work closely with SPAR’s advertising agency and printing company.
• Place orders for leaflets & P.O.S (Point of Sale).
• Ensuring the leaflet & P.O.S Critical Path is maintained on a daily basis.
• Assist in planning and preparation of ALL Sponsorship events.
• Attend meetings and events as required or after hours from time to time.
• Complete all admin/SAP related to campaigns.

Requirements

• Must have Marketing Degree/Diploma or any other related qualification
• Must be computer literate
• Good time management skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to cope under pressure
• Understanding integrated marketing communication (advertising, sponsorship, public relations and sales promotion) advantageous
• Build strategic working relationships
• Quality orientated
• Be flexible with time
• A Valid Drivers license and own transport essential
