Events Coordinator Wanted At Kaya FM. The station is seeking for the services of an event planner. The successful applicant will conceptualize, coordinate and manage all internal and external station events, activation and promotions in terms of marketing, sales, and programming.
Key Performance Areas
- To compile, manage and reconcile the event and activations budgets at least two weeks prior the event
- Meets all set budgets and never exceeds
- Submit supplier invoices to the marketing coordinator every Tuesday and Thursday by 10am
- To communicate and liaise with the product team on a daily basis regarding all elements of events and projects according to the number of initiatives and the execution of the initiatives
- To communicate and liaise with external customers (suppliers) regarding delivery of set objectives in the SLA or agreement for each event
- To conceptualize, as well as to formulate and present a finalized project plan to the client on a weekly basis
- To source the correct suppliers for the project in terms of cost and experience, as well as to communicate and brief the supplier on the agreed set standards of the project
- To manage the project/event from the start of the project until the end of the debriefing process, as well as to reconcile the budget as per. This KPI will be rated on the deliverables after the event
- To source and identify relevant suppliers (quarterly) with a BEE rating of at least four
- Compile an accurate and detailed events report for each event on a monthly basis before the 27th of each month
- To successfully execute set personal development plan in accordance with agreed timelines
- To successfully complete at least 1 relevant short course/seminar, etc. bi-annually
- Mentor and coach the Junior Events Coordinator based on the JEC’s feedback

Requirements
- Grade 12
- Diploma in marketing management
- Diploma in project/events management
- Events management (three to five)
- Project management (three to five)
- Marketing management (three to five)
- Valid driver’s license
