Anele Mdoda Calls Kwesta A Liar. Real Talk R500K interview debacle is only getting heated. Rapper Kwesta is among the people who have voiced their opinion on the matter. Responding to an article about the SABC being paid R500K for controversial Social Development Minister Bathabile Dlamini to appear on the show, Kwesta insinuated they got turned down from the show because they didn’t pay for interviews.
Anele Mdoda who is the host of the show did not waste time saying Kwesta is lying to people. “Kwesta. You are lying to people. You have not pitched to 4 interviews that you have been invited to. FOUR !!!! Two on radio where the Park Town Boys band were going to surprise you with their rendition of Ngud and twice on Real Talk…I have the emails confirming,” she said.
Check the rest of their tweets below.
.@RealTalkOn3 executive producer Yusuf Stevens of @CheekyMedia_SA tells @News24 it is not uncommon for people to pay for exposure on Real Talk with @Anele on @SABC3 and that mostly brands make payment to appear. [Viewers are however never told this by the show or the SABC.] https://t.co/Xy53ES7rI8

Yhu I do not mind him being vocal, there are different types of public persona qha he must not lie and say he is blocked from coming onto the show. He has BEEEEEN invited. The show took enough heat I can't accommodate more lies. https://t.co/MY3HrkkR58

Kwesta did apologize though
Again… Apologies, how can I make it up to you? That was unprofessional & disrepectful to you your team, your listeners.. Well & truly sorry!
“lying to people” is an unfair remark for a question though… Uxolo sisi regardless. https://t.co/cm9onSV9x7
