President Zuma Survives Motion of No Confidence By 21 Votes! The vote took place on the 8th of August and through a secret ballot box. 384 parliamentarians voted and out of the 384 votes, there were 177 Yes votes and 198 no votes.
The secret ballot was billed as a huge opportunity to get rid of the president who has over the years been losing support within and outside the ANC. The counting of ballots was done under the watch of Members of Parliament who acts as Party Agents.
