Internship Programme at the Department of Economic Development & Tourism 2017/2018

Closing date is 17 July 2017.

The Mpumalanga Department of Economic Development and Tourism hereby invite unemployed graduates for a twelve-month internship programme. The Internship programme is part of the National Human Resource Development Strategy and the National Skills Development Strategy.

The primary objective of the programme is to bridge the gap between theory and practical skills required to perform various trades. These opportunities are based at the Mbombela Head Office, Ehlanzeni, Nkangala – Witbank office & Gert Sibande – Ermelo office

Graduates with tertiary qualifications in the following fields are invited to apply in the respective fields:

•Communication – Graphic Design (1 Position)
•Legal Services – Law Degree (1 Position)
•CFO’S Office – Financial Accounting and Supply Chain Management (2 Positions)
•Economic Empowerment Enterprise Development – Business Management; B Com Economics (2 Positions)
•Trade and Sector Development – Business Management; Economics (2 Positions)
•Business Regulations and Consumer Protection – Law Degree (2 Positions)
•Economic Planning -Statistics/Economics/ Econometrics (1 Position)
•Tourism Services – Tourism Management (1 Position)

Requirements
•A three year tertiary qualification in the relevant field of study;
•Applicants must be South African citizens;
•Permanent residents of the Mpumalanga Province;
•Preference to be given to applicants from designated groups;
•Applicants should be unemployed;
•Successful candidates will be given a monthly stipend and
•Must be between ages 18 – 35
