Kelly Khumalo On How She Feels About Jub Jub Raising Their Son

Singer and actress Kelly Khumalo has expressed her feelings regarding her ex-lover Jub Jub raising their son. The two were in a romantic relationship together before Jub Jub served time in prison. Kelly later revealed that the musician used to abuse her both emotionally and physically. In the midst of all the drama they went through, something good came out of it a son that is now 7 years old.

Jub Jub served some time in prison but he has been recently released on parole. The actress said that she has nothing good to tell his son about his father. “How do you tell a 7 year old that this is what I went through with your father? Because I want to paint a perfect picture of him but it’s not there.”

Kelly said that her son is too young to make decisions about having a relationship with his father.She said she’ll protect him from Jub Jub until he’s old enough to decide whether he wants to pursue a relationship with his father.

“I want him when he’s old enough to decide whether he wants a relationship with him or not. But at this particular time, it’s my duty as the mother to protect my son from that person. I don’t know who he is now, and I don’t wish to know who he is now, but based on what I know of him, I would like to protect my son from that person.” she concluded.
