Somizi’s Reaction On Babes Wodumo’s Fall Out
Most people were quite moved by Babes Wodumo not winning an award at the SAMA 23 last weekend. She too wasn’t happy and even took a step further by posting a video on instagram expressing her emotions alongside boyfriend and PR manager Mampintsha. A day later they apologised, apparently because of prospects of legal action against them.
Celebrities and fans echoed similar sentiments in regards to her loss.
Somizi who was the host at the SAMA 23 took it to instagram to state that Babes has the potential to win at the BET awards. She was nominated for Best International Act : Africa.
“Ok this is one sound that no one in the world has, so let’s make it count that Babes Wodumo has the potential to be the first female in South Africa to win BET awards, let’s vote.” Somizi posted on instagram.
Babes may have not won an award at the Metro awards and SAMAs and she might not win at the BET awards even though we pray she does. What she must realise is that we still going to love,enjoy and listen to her music nonetheless.
