We all dread that morning were we wake up looking like our heads were in a spin dryer overnight, it happens when you least expect it. On that odd day when you have a date with that hot guy you’ve always been dreaming of, even worse on the day of an important interview. I know,it makes you want to cry or wish you had a personal hair stylist waiting for you in the house to take care of that horrible hair. Well cry no more it’s all about to change just follow these easy tips surely to give you that runway look.
1. Use the right products – always use a shampoo and conditioner that’s appropriate for your hair.
2. Only shampoo when needed – don’t wash your hair everyday you rob it of the oils that your hair produces making it brittle and easy to break.
3. Don’t use soap bar on your hair – girl this is for you, you know your mama said its ok to wash that afro with that green bar soap! Put it down!!!
4. Never use a curling iron on wet or damp hair- the heat from the iron will easily exceed the point of water. The curling irons heat can cause serious breakage and damage on the spot.
5. Know at least 3 hairstylist – it’s a must if you going to tie your hair like a simple plane Jane you look dull. Know what styles suit you so you can play around with different looks.
6. Don’t pull to hard – when you have braids on avoid pulling your hair this causes the hairline to recede and when you have those braids off it show in your hair.
7. Wash the weave and braids – a good clean head never looks dull, nothing says bad hair more than a bad looking weave that’s been on for 2 months and hasn’t been washed.
8. Mousturise! Mosturise! Moisturise – do it religiously to your hair, treat it like skin. Olive oil does wonders.
9. Understand styling products – know what works for you and what doesn’t work. What’s suitable, the amount of product you should put on your hair, the grease. The hairspray heck learn it all.’
10. Eat well – yes you might think it’s impossible for your hair to fall out because of food well it does happen. You are what you eat.
