Remuneration package: R 665 652 p.a. per annum.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing software development and technical support for the Parliamentary Website.

Key Performance Areas Include:

  • Establishing system administration requirements
  • Managing system security
  • Maintaining systems
  • Managing system administration on projects.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A Degree or Diploma in IT with 5 years software development experience OR a tertiary Software Development qualification with 8 years software development
    experience.

Skills Requirements:

  • Attention to detail
  • Application programming experience in PHP (essential) and C#, JavaScript (advantageous)
  • Problem-solving ability
  • Report-writing skills
  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence techniques
  • Experience in using relational databases such as MSSQL(essential), Postgres(advantageous)
  • Scripting experience in JavaScript and JQuery (highly advantageous)
  • Understanding of the software development life cycle
  • Knowledge of Project Management Principles
  • Exposure to October CMS (a definite advantage).
