NAME OF THE ROLE: BOOKKEEPER LEARNERSHIP (CAPE TOWN OFFICE)

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Sygnia invites unemployed candidates, including Persons with Disabilities, to apply for a Bookkeeper Learnership opportunity.
The Learnership programme is 24 months and will lead to the qualification of National Diploma: Technical Financial Accountant NQF Level 5.

DUTIES AND DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Handling creditor accounts
• Maintain general ledger
• Process invoices and reconcile bank account
• Petty Cash
• General Office administration

ROLE QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Completed Grade 12 and performed well in Accounting, Maths and English
• Must be a South African citizen
• Be computer literate
• Not be studying at any other institution
• Not be registered with any other Learnership
• Demonstrate commitment to working in the Asset Management Industry
• Displaying a willingness to learn corporate values
• Be between the ages of 18-35
• The Leanership must attend classroom lessons and practical work
• The Learner must compile logbooks for workplace based learning
• The Learner must compile a Portfolio of Evidence for submission to Fasset
• The Learner must achieve the required level in formative and summative assessments

• Good Interpersonal Skills
• Good Organisational Skills
