“I’m grateful to my lady and my kids for allowing me to chase my dreams unconditionally”- Black Coffee
Black Coffee walked away with South Africa’s first ever BET Award at the weekend. The awards are being held in Los Angeles and Black Coffee beat out the likes of AKA‚ Cassper Nyovest‚ Diamond Platnumz‚MzVee‚ Serge Beynaud‚ Wizkid and Yemi Alade. Black Coffee and his wife Enhle meanwhile cemented their A-list status, with both of them being a major talking point at the awards.
Wearing an olive green suit‚ the DJ thanked South African fans for their support as well a his wife and kids.

Over the past 4/5 years I have been doing tours outside my country.. in the last 2 years even relocating my family with me whilst on tour to make everything work.. taking our South African music to places that I can’t even pronounce.
I’m grateful to my lady Enhle Mbali Mlotshwa and my kids for allowing me to chase my dreams unconditionally. My great team Amaru Da Costa, Lionel Marciano and both offices in South Africa and New York, the Universal Music South Africa team, Ultra Music team in NY and William Morris Endeavor team in LA.
