Mariah Carey’s Effort To Speaking Xhosa

It’s no secret! Mariah Carey is coming to South Africa with her Sweet Fantasy Tour and she will kick off he SA tour on the 26th of April in Cape Town. And the the tour will wrap with two dates in South Africa in early May, Durban (29 April) and Johannesburg (1 & 2 May). The Sweet Sweet Fantasy Tour is the ninth concert tour by American singer and songwriter .

Since we (Mariah Carey fans) are all excited and can’t wait to see Mariah Carey perform. In the morning, KFM Breakfast presenter Ryan O’Connor treated us to a very entertaining interview with Mariah Carey. He had a chat with her about the upcoming SA concerts.

O’Connor also coached Carey to speak some Afrikaans and even got her to say a few words in Xhosa. Mariah Carey was such a good sport and she tried her hand to speaking a few words. Our favourite moment was when she tried to speak Xhosa, she sounded super cute!
