“I Don’t Touch Alcohol At All. Whoever Is Telling You That Is Mad,”- Says Naima Kay
Songstress Naima Kay has spoken for the first time of the personal turmoil which has been making headlines for apparently hitting the bottle hard. But the singer says the accusations are all crazy ! In fact, she doesn’t even drink alcohol!
She caught Mzansi’s attention when she released her hit song “Lelinga”. Hailing from KZN, Naima Kay is one of SA’s unique talent with her own version of Afro-pop. Kay’s love for music developed in her church choir.
According to sources, Naima Kay has been skipping gigs and running late to appointments because she’s too busy occupying her fire water.
“I don’t touch alcohol at all. Whoever is telling you that is mad,” she says.
Naima revealed that the reason she did not perform at a some of the events promised had nothing to do with her drinking habits, and more to do with the “problems” at one of the events, and because she was tired at another.
We hope the claims are false though!
