A challenging and exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified individual to join the financial reporting unit for Sturrock Grindrod Maritime group, based in Cape Town.

Qualification:
• CA (SA)

Experience:
• Minimum of 3 years completed articles at a reputable audit firm.
• Strong technical IFRS experience
• Consolidation experience
• Company tax knowledge
• SAP, Hyperion knowledge an advantage

Required skills:
• Ability to work in a structured and methodical manner, ensuring accuracy and neatness
• Able to meet deadlines – priority
• Aptitude for figures and attention to detail

Job Specification
Reporting directly to Group Financial Manager, the responsibilities of the successful applicant will include, but are not limited to the following:
• Consolidation and submission of monthly flash reports, quarterly forecasts, annual budgets and year-end financial packs
• Consolidation and submission of cash flow forecasts, debtors and creditors and other working capital reports
• Consolidation and submission of all corporate financial reports in accordance with group deadlines
