Vacancy: SEO Needed

Your role within the organization will be to ensure that SEO is woven into the fabric of our web design from the outset and carried through every opportunity – both off the page and (content, HTML, architecture) as well as on-the-page links.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the long term SEO strategy for our site
• Collaborate with developers and designers to ensure that SEO considerations are fully incorporated into our site.
• Keyword research and analysis
• Upload appropriate keywords and destination URLs into articles
• Update tags and links on an ongoing basis
• Website content and structure analysis is accordance with SEO goals and best practice
• Collaborate with copy writers, designers and developers to optimize content in accordance with SEO goals and best practice
• Monitor and report on campaign analytics

• Plan and implement paid search or other SEO initiatives as appropriate
• Prepare and analyse monthly reports and make recommendations
• Keep abreast of SEO trends and developments in the industry and maintain best practice standards

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of SEO tools,tatics and techniques
• Minimum three years experience at an SEO agency / SEO role at an online media or ecommerce business
• Good understanding of website performance metrics
• Basic understanding of HTML /other
• Good English language writing skills
• Tertiary education

• Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with multiple project stake holders
• Strong business acumen
