Vacancy: Code 10 Drivers wanted

Our client has a position for a skilled, committed, hardworking, determined, target- driven, Code 10 Driver with a valid PDP. This position will include local operations as well as require spending extended periods away from home. 

Requirements

• Must have a valid, code 10 license with a (valid) PDP
• Prepared to leave Cape Town on a Monday and return Friday/ Saturday
• Motivated and career orientated.
• Good communication skills, (speak, read and write English)
• In good health
• Hands on practical approach to the job
• Minimum Grade 12 education
• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience

Duties include:

• Day-to-day inspection of the vehicle and to report any faults.
• Loading and off loading of various materials.
• Ensure the safety of other road users.
• Abide by the regulations as set out in Occupational Health and Safety Act, company policies and the regulations of the road.
• You will need to be willing to work long hours and be of sober habits.
