TV and Film Producer Accuses Phuti Khomo of An Unpaid Bill. It has been a couple of months since Tumelo Maimela went public about her beef with Phuti Khomo. The TV and Film producer alleges that Phuti owes her for an upcoming reality show she produced for her. In the latest update, Tumi shares more information about the reality show, their agreement, and the kind of person Phuti is.
According to Tumi, Phuti contacted her back in 2024 about her upcoming reality show called, The Help. The show was going to feature four of her helpers as well as helpers of two other celebrities. Phuti also told Tumi that a commercial bank has been approached to help fund the reality show. For privacy reasons, the former Miss Teen South Africa, actress and entrepreneur didn’t want the show to be shot at her house. Thus, alternative location was found for the shooting.
Tumi and her team, got on to do pre-production work, which included interviewing Phuti’s helpers. Only half of the payment was made. They continued to work together nonetheless, nut no other payments were made. This caused Tumi to take matters to social media. Now things have escalated, with Tumi sharing how Phuti has swindled some of her close friends. She also alleges that Phuti lied when she posted about the trucks her husband supposedly bought her a few years back. According to Tumi, the trucks were hired just for content.
