“My Heart Is Broken,” Penny Lebyane Mourns Her Father. A healthy father and daughter relationship is always beautiful to witness. Penny Lebyane had exactly that kind of bond with her father, Rufus Lebyane. When her father turned 75 years a few years ago, Penny took to social media with a beautiful message of gratitude. Sadly, her father is no more, a big loss to the entire family.
The seasoned media personality shared that her father passed away on the 30th of October 2026. He was 79 years of age. Penny, however, did not share the cause of death. In a heartfelt tribute, she sang her father’s praises highlighting some of his outstanding qualities. Our condolences go out to Penny and her family, as they deal with the loss of their loved one.
“I lost the 1st man whoever loved me as I am, my father, dad, tyma, papa Ka. My heart is full of everything he is and has taught me and my siblings Lebo, Brenda, Neo which will remain with us for the rest of our lives. My heart is broken cause the only thing that describes what my father gave to me is Love in all its forms to fuel my spirit as a girl child. Love Personified. I walk in the world so full of it cause it’s the only thing he had and it was enough. Papa my love l know your love will carry us till eternityđź’”
