Tapping Into Another Side of Acting
Katlego has just announced her latest acting gig. The rising star has been cast in a theatre production, playing Lady Macduff and Weird Sister. This will be at the Maynardville Open-Air Theater, an outdoor theatre in Maynardville Park, Wynberg, Cape Town. The venue is known for its annual Shakespeare in the Park plays. Shakespeare’s Macbeth, directed by Lesedi Job will play from 5 February – 13 March 2027.
“So excited to announce that I’ll be playing Lady Macduff and Weird Sister (Future) in Macbeth at the Maynardville Open-Air Festival in 2027.
Directed by the incredible Lesedi Job, this production reimagines Shakespeare’s tragedy in Southland, a post-apocalyptic world where survival, loyalty and ambition collide.
I can’t wait to be a part of bringing this story to life alongside an extraordinary company and creative team.
