Jo-Anne Reyneke is returning to Generations: The Legacy, stepping back into the role of Refilwe. Refilwe is the daughter of the cunning and politically connected Walter Nkaba. She and her father share a complicated relationship, shaped by Nkaba’s tendency to unapologetically use his daughter to advance his own agenda. But Refilwe is no pushover.

Smart, charming, ruthless and ambitious, she has grown up surrounded by powerful men and is completely comfortable holding her own in their world. “Firstly I was beyond honoured to get the call from the production of Generations, that they want me back, you know those are big compliments from a production that worked with you once before, for them to call and ask you back again means they must have enjoyed what you did, but also I am praying that they missed working with me,” Jo-Anne said.
