Ama Qamata Expresses Immense Gratitude for Those Who Came to Support Her Film. Ama Qamata stars in an international film titled Fight Like A Girl. A week ago, she shared that for the first time, the South African public will get to experience the film on the big screen at Sterkinekor. After which there was a powerful panel discussion hosted by Women for Change South Africa. The conversation explored the story and the importance of female resilience, which is a central theme in the film.
In just a few days, they wee sold out, a clear indication that the general public couldn’t wait to see the film on the big screen.The day came, and indeed the place was packed. Ama is over the moon for all the support that they got. The award winning actress took to social media to thank everyone who came through.

Fight Like A Girl, is a film which was shot in Goma (an active war zone) a few years ago. It is based on true events, inspired by the courageous journey of young Congolese boxing champion Clarck Ntambwe and her coach Balezi “Kibomango” Bagunda. Balezi was tragically killed amid ongoing violence in East Congo last year while helping rescue orphans to safety
