ICYMI! Humbulani Tsharani Joins Uzalo. Humbulani Tsharani is best known by many for playing the wise traditional healer Mulimisi on the SABC 2 drama, Muvhango. Now viewers have another opportunity to see him on TV, this time playing a new role.
It has been quite some time since we last saw Tsharani grace out television screens. The talented actor was sadly left without work after Muvhango came to an end. Tsharani stayed home for almost two years, until Uzalo called him for new work. He has been cast to play the role of Mpfariseni, who hit the ground running advising and encouraging Pondo as he faced the realities of fatherhood.
Another new face on the SABC 1 drama is Kholeka Mngadi. She plays Warden Ntombela, who is Nkunzi’s prison ally.

One thing about Uzalo, they never miss when it comes to casting. Earlier this month, Abdul Khoza returned to the show, this time with a new role. He plays Ma-Ten-Ten, one of leaders of the notorious Amantaliyane gang. Alongside him is his foster sister Lungsta played by the award-winning Londeka Sishi. Lungsta is the brilliant strategist behind the gang’s operations.
