Applications Open for the National Youth Service Phase 5 Programme (100 000 Opportunities Now Available). The National Youth Service (NYS) in partnership with the Sport For Social Change Network (SSCN), is inviting unemployed South Africans aged 18 – 35 to apply for the NYS Phase 5 six-months programme.
About the Programme
The initiative offers community service opportunities, sport-based development, a monthly stipend, and skills development to improve employability. Applications are open across multiple provinces.
Job Overview
Participants will get involved in the meaningful community activities that support national development while building your skills,experience, and personal growth.
Selection Criteria
- South African citizen with a valid ID.
- Must be between 18 and 35 years old.
- Live within the local municipality or community where the programme site is located.
- Be able to travel easily to the implementing partners site.
- Preference for unemployed youth not in education, employment or training (NEET).
- Must be able to contribute positively to the community and complete the programme to a high standard.
- Must not have participated in previous phases of the programme.
- People living with disabilities are encouraged to apply.
