She is currently in the US, mingling with of Children Of Blood and Bone cast members, as they celebrate the film trailer. Zanele made sure that her hair also made a statement at the star studded gathering.
The Inspiration Behind the Trending Hairstyle
The award winning media personality did her Koroba braids at Sibahle Siyakhula hair salon. The kiddies hair salon is owned by Sbahle Mzizi and her mother Ntando Rambani. For the hairstyle, Zanele was inspired by Zélie, a character that Thuso Mbedu plays in Children of Blood and Bone. Zélie rocks some cool blonde curly hair, hence why Zanele put blonde curly extensions to complete her Koroba hairstyle. The whole Koroba up-do was inspired by Botlhale Boikanyo, who rocked the hairstyle recently for her honors graduation. Since landing in the US, Zanele has been receiving many compliments.
