As a Permanent Part-Timer, you will support the daily operations of the store while delivering an outstanding shopping experience to every customer. You will assist with sales, merchandising, stock handling, housekeeping and loss prevention while helping the store achieve its performance goals. The successful candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment, be eager to learn and demonstrate a genuine passion for helping customers find the right products.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service to every customer visiting the store.
• Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
• Assist customers in finding products that meet their needs.
• Use effective selling techniques to increase sales and recommend additional products.
• Develop strong product knowledge to confidently assist customers.
• Support stock movement from the stockroom to the sales floor.
• Assist with ticketing products and checking received stock against delivery documentation.
• Help set up and maintain attractive merchandise displays.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards, including cleaning the store.
• Safeguard company assets and support loss prevention procedures.
• Monitor the sales floor and report suspicious activities in line with company policies.
• Participate in in-store and digital training programmes.
• Use Power BI tools to understand store performance, best-selling products and stock trends.
• Follow all company policies, procedures and operational standards.
• Support the store team during busy trading periods, including weekends and evenings.

Requirements and Skills

• Matric certificate.
• Zero to one year of retail experience.
• Passion for retail and customer service.
• Interest in fashion and styling customers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to use initiative and work independently.
• Positive attitude and enthusiasm.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Flexibility to work weekdays, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Adaptability and willingness to handle different tasks as required.
