Zanele Potelwa Bags A Major Awards Hosting Gig. It’s no longer news that Cassper Nyovest will host this year’s South African Music Awards. His co-host has also been announced, and it’s none other than the phenomenal Zanele Potelwa.
A day ago, Cassper announced on social media that he would be hosting SAMAs 2026. The gig comes a decade after not seeing eye to eye for a decade. After rapper made the announcement, Zanele asked him to come to 5FM for an exclusive interview with her.
“This is me shooting my shot 😬 You said Announcements coming 👀 Please make my radio show #5Drive the place you give an exclusive to sana? 😭🔥,” Zanele asked.
Caspper immediately agreed, and he hit the 5FM studios. He had an envelope from the SAMAs which revealed Zanele as his co-host.

It goes without saying that Zanele is one of the best young media personalities of our time. She is also an amazing event host, having held it down at the SASMAs, SAMAs, Gen Next Awards, SA Amapiano Awards, Feather Awards, to mention only a few. The award winning Zanele has also hosted events such as the GenNext Awards and the Hollywood Bets Super League Awards broadcast LIVE on SABC 1. She is back again on the SAMAs stage,and we can’t wait to see her shine.
