Job Overview and Responsibilities

• Assist with daily buying administration, including order creation and amendments.
• Manage product samples and ensure they are organised and available when required.
• Liaise with the Marketing team to coordinate products for photoshoots and promotional campaigns.
• Provide administrative support for various buying activities and ad hoc projects.
• Research emerging fashion trends, styles and consumer preferences.
• Support the buying team with selecting and curating future product ranges.
• Analyse sales data and customer feedback to support informed buying decisions.
• Share creative ideas and insights to help improve and expand product ranges.
• Collaborate with the Planning team to gain valuable exposure to product planning and selection.
• Assist with maintaining accurate buying records and documentation.
• Contribute to projects that support business growth and product performance.

Requirements and Skills

• Relevant Diploma or Degree in Fashion, Retail Business Management or a related field.
• Strong interest in pursuing a career as a Retail Buyer.
• Excellent analytical and research skills.
• Passion for learning and willingness to develop new knowledge and skills.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Ability to use technology to improve productivity and support business objectives.
• Good organisational and planning skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to problem solving.
• Commitment to ethical conduct, integrity and maintaining high professional standards.
