Gail Mabalane Hails Her Sister for Graduating Amidst Hectic Life Challenges. When she started tertiary, her brother passed away, six months later it was their mother, followed by the passing of their father. Despite all the hectic losses, Denise Nkoane has achieved a lot in life, one of which being her recent graduation.
One person who is proud of her, is her big sister, Gail Mabalane. The multi award-winning actress and entrepreneur has taken to social media to celebrate Denise. She highlighted most of the hardships they have endured, which includes the loss of close family members. When it all began, Denise was a 17-year-old teenager, and doing her first year at tertiary. Gail hailed her younger sister for beating all the odds, and finally emerging victorious as a graduate.

You were just 17 when we lost our brother, in your very first year of tertiary. Then, 6 months later, we lost Mom. And when you were only 24, we lost Dad.
I have watched you navigate life through some of its highest highs and deepest lows, and still keep fighting against all odds. I’ve seen you rise above setback after setback, even when your circumstances gave you every reason not to.
I am so, so proud of you, Niesie!!! You fought hard, and you made it. This is so much bigger than a graduation ceremony. It’s a reminder that no matter what life throws at you, you can still choose to rise. ❤️
