Job Overview

The Trainee Buyer supports the buying team in developing and executing product strategies within the Household category. You will assist in sourcing products, analysing sales performance, and maintaining accurate product information across systems. The role includes working with suppliers, monitoring market trends, and supporting range planning decisions. You will also collaborate with planning, supply chain, and marketing teams to ensure product availability and commercial success. This position provides hands on experience in retail buying operations and supplier engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with product sourcing and range planning activities
• Support supplier communication and coordination
• Analyse sales data and product performance metrics
• Assist in pricing and commercial decision support
• Manage product samples and coordinate product setup processes
