Tyla Officially Joins the Disney Family. It’s yet another major career move for Tyla. The superstar has just become part of the Disney family as the Inflatable Flamingo in the Sub-Saharan version of Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story 5.
The 2X Grammy Award-winning singer has officially made her Disney voice acting debut. This is a dream come true for her as she grew up watching the popular animated film and is now part of the Disney family. She joins iconic stars like Tom Hanks (Woody), Tim Allen (Buzz Lightyear), and Joan Cusack (Jessie), alongside new characters like the tablet device Lilypad, voiced by Greta Lee. Tyla’s character, the Inflatable Flamingo, is a playful new role infused with her signature style and charisma.
Toy Story 5 opens in cinemas on the 19th of June 2026.
