Lerato Mokoka Bags Role In A New Drama Series. Lerato Mokoka is back in out TV screens with a new role. The talented actress has been cast in Isibhamu, a new drama series set to air in Mzansi Magic.
‘Isibhamu’ follows a story of a heartbroken young man, who sets out on a mission to avenge his father’s murder. The decision unleashes powerful and evil forces that could change the course of his life forever. In his pursuit of justice, he comes into possession of a powerful gun possessed by an evil muthi spirit, which ignites a relentless thirst for vengeance.
As the story unfolds, the gun makes its way through the community, possessing whoever comes into contact with it. Siphamandla must find a way to end the chaos it is causing, uncover his true identity, and find a way to calm or rid the cursed gun of its thirst for blood.
Isibhamu premieres on Mzansi Magic and will occupy the Sunday night 20:00 slot from 7 June
Leratois best known for playing the role of Tshiamo on Mzansi Magic drama series Gomora. She saw an open call for actors for Gomora on social media and decided to apply. Although she didn’t think she wouldn’t get a callback, Lerato gave her best during auditions.
After Gomora got canned, Lerato has been involved in a number of projects. Now we can’t wait to see her do her thing in Isibhamu this coming Sunday.
