Sthandiwe Kgoroge Introduces Her New Acting Role. Movie lovers are about to meet Melody Makaringe, the Editor in Chief at Drum Head Quarters. The character is played by the seasoned veteran actress Sthandiwe Kgoroge.

Stha has bagged a role in Dear Sis Dolly, an upcoming movie about to hit the cinemas. The film takes us in the life of a social worker, called, Mmabotsana who is in her 30’s. In order to save her floundering psychology practice in Mamelodi, she applies for the iconic and revered Agony-Aunt job at Drum Magazine as a last resort. Although she is shortlisted, she has to face off against two equally ambitious younger candidates than her, Rameetsa and Paseka (early 30’s) in a three-month probation face-off period.

This is where Melody comes in As the Editor-in-Chief of Drum Magazine, she has to decide who next gets the job. This is a big one, as Sis Dolly is a respected Auntie to the nation who gives the right advice all the time.

Other lead cast members are Didintle Khunou, Natasha Thahane, Dineo Langa and Brighton Ngoma. The supporting cast include Jerry Mofokeng, Abigail Kubeka, Solomon Sebothoma as well as SlindoKuhle Tshabalala.

Dear Sis Dolly is coming to the cinemas nationwide from the 3rd of July.
