Applications Open for the Rand Water Public Service Administrator Learnership Programme: NQF Level 5.
Minimum Requirements
- Applicants must not be employed.
- Applicants must not be enrolled with any institution for a qualification nor be registered in any Learnership Programme.
- Applicants must not be in possession of a completed post-matric qualification (NB: Failure to disclose post-matric qualifications will result in applicant being disqualified)
- Applicants in possession of a post-matric qualification must not apply and will not be considered.
- Applicants must have a Matric (Grade 12) with Mathematics (Minimum level 4 or higher)/ Maths Literacy (Minimum Level 5 or higher) with Physical Science (Minimum Level 4 or higher) OR
- Mathematics (minimum Level 4 or higher)/Maths Literacy (Minimum Level 5 or higher) with Business Studies (Minimum Level 4 or higher).
- Applicants must submit / attach SAQA / NLRD verification report (Obtainable from SAQA website » SAQA Verifications Service » Extract from the NLRD)
- Applicants must be a South African citizen and be in possession of a valid SA ID.
- Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years of age (in line with the NSDSIII).
- The following documents must accompany your application:
- A certified copy of the ID document
- Certified copy of Matric Certificate
- SAQA / NLRD verification report
- CV
Primary Duties
- Manage office records, filing systems, and correspondence
- Prepare reports, letters, and official documents
- Handle incoming and outgoing mails
- Communicate with the public, clients, and internal staff professionally
- Respond to queries, complaints, and requests for information
- Maintain good customer service standards
- Assist in planning meetings and schedules
- Take minutes during meetings
- Monitor progress of departmental projects and programmes
- Ensure work is aligned with public service policies and procedures
- Follow government regulations and ethical standards
- Maintain integrity and accountability in all tasks
- Use Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and office systems
- Capture data and maintain electronic records
- Prepare presentations and spreadsheets
Knowledge
- Rand Water Mandate and it’s contribution to the water sector.
Skills
- Communication skills (Verbal and Written)
Attitude
- Self Motivated and Results driven.
