LaConco Once Again Explores the World of Mining. Success is all about using the past setback to learn, adjust your strategy, and rebuild your confidence. That is why it is recommended to try again, even after failure. Nonkanyiso Laconco Coco, who is one inspirational woman, is a shinning example of that.
She got introduced to the public as former president Jacob Zuma’s partner, back in the day. LaConco then went on to cave her own path, when she joined Real Housewives of Durban reality show. From then on, she started growing, both in the industry and personally. LaConco became an award winning TV personality, a podcast host, bagged cameo roles and won hearts as an MC.
Above everything she is a phenomenal entrepreneur. A year ago, LaConco revealed that she ventured into farming, rearing sheep and goats. Now she is into another one of her hustles, coal business. LaConco was introduced to the business a few years ago, but opted out because of circumstances. She is now back, ready to learn, grow and build meaningful relations in the industry.

I was first introduced to coal business by a good female friend back in 2022 (see last two slides). Entering the world of commodities opened my eyes to both opportunity and the harsh realities of greed, betrayal, loss and dishonesty. It became overwhelming, and I had to step away.
