Applications Open for the Unmute Dance Company Internship Programme. Unmute Dance Company is thrilled to invite applicants for a 12-month, full-time internship running from 1 July 2026 to June 2027.

About the Opportunity

This opportunity is open to people with and without disabilities and is ideal for young individuals with no formal work experience who are eager to gain valuable skills in the arts and grow within a dynamic, inclusive company.

Positions

• Dance Facilitator Intern
• Training and Rehearsal Assistant
• Festival Admin Support

This Opportunity Is Open to Candidates Who:

• Have a minimum qualification of Matric.
• Must be South African citizens aged 18–34.
• Have never held a full-time position before and preferably have not participated in a learnership or internship programme.
• Live within 50 km of our offices in Cape Town.
• Are not currently in full-time studies and are able to attend this internship full-time.
• Are willing to undergo a credit and criminal check, or any industry-specific checks required for the role.
• Preference will be given to candidates from designated groups and people with disabilities, in accordance with the organizations employment equity plan.
