On top of the existing cast, the new season is introducing a new family called the Dumas. They will bring a blitz of new cast, which boast some of the biggest names in the industry. The family members are Ncibijana Madlala as Zaqheqhe, Sannah Mchunu as Majele, Thokozani Nzima as Sandlasenkosi, Zazi Kunene as Ntando and Craig Nobela as Fenda. Ther is also Aramis Ngwenya as Sfuba, Ayanda Phambana as Nobesuthu, and Sipho Mbele, who plays nosy neighbor Mahlangu.
Season 2 of Amalanga Awafani premieres on Monday 25th of May 2026 on SABC1.
