e.tv confirmed the cancellation, explaining that the series, was conceptualized with a natural story arc in mind. Rather than unnecessarily stretching the plot beyond its intended lifespan, the channel and creators chose to conclude the drama at its creative peak. The decision is also part of a wider programming shift for the network, which includes the conclusion of other major shows like Scandal!.
