DJ Fresh Celebrates His Son Graduating. The graduation season is upon us, and graduates are being celebrated countrywide. So far we have witnessed the likes of Amahle Biyela, Amina Jack, Tee Xaba, Vourne Kgosinkwe, Doctor Khumalo, Abongwe Mseleku and Anele’s former PA Lungani Gumede, shine at their respective institutes.
The Sikwanes are also in the mix of celebration as one of their own just leveled up his academics. Thato Motlotlegi Sikwane, known in the industry as YBF (Young Boy Fresh), is a whole graduate. YBF is the son of the legendary DJ Fresh and the late Thabiso Sikwane, who was also a force in the industry. Not only is YBF taking after his father as a DJ, he is also paving his own way in the marketing industry.
His proud father took to social media gushing over the achievement, Fresh is proud of his son, who made it despite many challenges that included the death of his mother two years ago. Now he is here, with as a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Marketing graduate from Emeris Sandton. Emeris is the evolution of the IIE’s Varsity College, Vega, MSA and HSM.
