About the Graduate Accelerated Programme (GAP)
The GAP Programme focuses on identifying high-potential graduates and equipping them with leadership skills needed in the financial services sector.
Successful candidates are appointed as Graduate Trainees and gain experience through:
- Project-based work
- On-the-job training
- Continuous performance assessments
- Structured learning and development programmes

1. Graduate Trainee: Internal Auditor – Technology & Cyber Risk
Qualification Required:
- Degree in:
- Commerce
- Engineering
- Science (e.g. Data Science, IT, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Analytics)
2. Graduate Trainee: Internal Auditor – General Internal Audit
Qualification Required:
- Degree in Internal Auditing
3. Graduate Trainee: Internal Auditor – OM Insure
Qualification Required:
- Degree in:
- Law
- Insurance
- Risk Management
- Related fields
4. Graduate Trainee: Internal Auditor – PF Life & Customer
Qualification Required:
- Degree in:
- Finance (BCom / BBusSci)
- Auditing (Internal or External)

Minimum Requirements
To qualify for the Old Mutual Graduate Accelerated Programme, applicants must:
- Be a South African citizen
- Have completed or be completing Honours (or equivalent) by end of 2026
- Have achieved a minimum average of 65% in the last two years of study
