Core Purpose

The Graduate Municipal Engineer will be responsible for the design and coordination of civil infrastructure design on medium to large sized Municipal Engineering projects.

Key Performance Areas

  • Design of Civil Infrastructure: Roads, stormwater, water and sanitation for townships, commercial and industrial developments.
  • Adherence to Quality Management System.
  • Keep abreast of technical best practice.
  • Prepare and self-review technical reports.
  • Investigate and make recommendations on alternate solutions to engineering problems.
  • Technical contract documents.
  • Work independently and produce project technical deliverables.
  • Experience in both greenfield and brownfield projects.
  • Good communication and people skills.
  • Preparation of reports and presentations.

Job Requirements

  • Tertiary Qualification (BSc Eng, B Eng)

Experience

  • 0-3 years with specific Civil Infrastructure Design for Townships experience is a pre-requisite.
