Core Duties And Responsibilities

This role involves daily operational tasks that support store performance and product availability.

• Monitoring expiry dates and removing expired stock
• Restocking products to maintain sales levels
• Handling out of stock queries and following up with customers
• Receiving, storing, and organising stock correctly
• Maintaining correct pricing, labels, and product displays
• Reporting pricing errors and stock issues to management
• Assisting with stock rotation and stocktaking
• Handling merchandise carefully to avoid losses or damage
• Assisting with loading and offloading stock when required
• Flattening boxes and maintaining clean storage areas

At the till point you will also:

• Process payments including cash, cards, vouchers, and coupons
• Handle exchanges and returns with approval
• Manage loyalty card transactions
• Ensure accurate cash handling and drop safe procedures
• Complete line voids and price changes with supervisor approval

Customer Service Responsibilities

You will interact directly with customers throughout the day. You must provide clear assistance, answer product questions, and guide customers to the correct items. Complaints and compliments must be reported to management. You must maintain a friendly, professional, and efficient service approach.
