Shoki and her daughters do almost everything together, and they hype each other in beautiful ways. Towards the end of 2024, she was a guest recently on SAfm, where she got to talk about her projects with the legendary, Bertha Charuma. Her youngest daughter Karabo accompanied her, and she took many by surprise when she sang Never Enough, a classic originally sung by Loren Allred. Her proud mother gushed over her talent on her Instagram. Just two weeks before that, Shoki saw her firstborn daughter Oratile off to her Matric Dance. She was all emotional seeing Oratile all beautiful for one of the most special days of her life.
This past weekend was mom’s opportunity to shine. Shoki bagged herself a Best Supporting Actress in a TV Comedy at the South African Film and TV Awards. Her daughters were right besides, her and joined mommy on stage. When Shoki gave her acceptance speech Oratile and Karabo got overcome by emotions, and cried on stage. There are some people who judged them, but mom has come forth to explain why they felt that way on stage. The multi-award winning actress and fashion designer has shared that her daughters felt that way because of everything they have been through.
